Christine Carrillo

Christine Carrillo, B.A., M.A.T., AMI Primary Diploma, has been a passionate advocate of child centered education and Montessori education for more than two decades, and has worked as a classroom teacher with children aged three to fourteen since 1999.
Christine has a graduate degree in AMI Montessori Primary Education from the Montessori Training Center of St. Louis and has taken courses in Non-Profit/Organizational Management at Harvard University Extension School and the Darden School of Business.

Additionally, Mrs. Carrillo is a contributing author to several nationally published journal articles, books and blogs on the topics of teaching, classroom management and Montessori education. She currently writes for the international publication The Innovation.
Mrs. Carrillo is a primary teacher at Wheaton Montessori School in Illinois. She lives in a bilingual (Spanish/English) household with her husband, two Montessori educated daughters and her lively beagle in Wheaton, Illinois.
